Nairobi → Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel. Drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to the Maasai Mara. Check in to your lodge, lunch, then your first afternoon game drive tracking the Big Five. Sundowner at the Mara River. Dinner & overnight at the lodge.

Day2

Maasai Mara → Nairobi

Pre-dawn game drive at sunrise — the best hour for predator activity. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Optional visit to a Maasai manyatta (cultural village). Mid-morning drive back to Nairobi; drop-off at your hotel in the late afternoon.

When is the best month to take this safari?

July to October is migration season — wildebeest river crossings are most dramatic in August and September. January–March is warm and dry with excellent predator viewing. Green season (November–June) delivers lower rates and newborn wildlife.

Where does the safari depart from?

From any Nairobi hotel, Airbnb or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport hotel. We also collect from JKIA if you are arriving that morning.

What type of vehicle is used?

A private 4x4 Land Cruiser / safari jeep with pop-top roof, cooler box, charging ports, and reference books on Kenya's wildlife. Maximum 6 guests per vehicle.

Is this safari child-friendly?

Yes — children 3+ sharing with parents are welcome. We can swap the lodge for a family-friendly option and reduce early-morning drive durations.

Can we add a hot-air balloon flight?

Yes — a sunrise balloon flight over the Mara plains is USD 480 per person including a champagne breakfast. Add it during booking.

How do I pay?

30% deposit via bank transfer, card or mobile money. Balance due 45 days before travel. Instalment plans available.
